Lab 1 - in the studio

I've always found fascinating the concept behind a studio lab session, where you've got a totally different interaction with your crowd. this time, reaching the peek moment of the night isn't my first concern, rather creating a true musical journey. streaming via web doesn't mean the job will be less difficult than in a club: it still takes time, patience and lots of creativity to build the perfect dj set. it's all about the flow, the magic of the melodies embracing each other from one track to another, the guilty pleasure of creating new grooves while transitioning from one to another track. it goes way deeper than a simple mix, it has to be an extraordinary moment that will stick into people memories for many many years. hence why tunes selection cannot be just restricted to the last 1 or 2 weeks. the dig for the perfect moment starts before approaching the studio room and get superbly crafted while mixing by reading your emotions and what the tracks are telling you indirectly. from this saturday 29th june, landscapes music and i are proud to introduce a new concept: the lab session will be streamed online via my label's facebook page and it will feature a very special guest per each episode.
